The basic function of the department is to manage personnel functions in support of the City. Specifically, in matters related to staff recruiting, labor relations, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws. In addition, Human Resources is responsible for the development and enforcement of personnel rules and regulations, as they pertain to the City employees as well as administering the employee’s benefits and compensation programs. Furthermore, the Human Resources Department is responsible for Risk Management.
The Human Resources Office is open Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
